Dubai-based Indian chef Atul Kochhar did ‘anti-Muslim’ tweet, seek forgiveness.
Dubai, In the UAE, Indian-origin chef Atul Kokar has been tired of controversy over the alleged anti-Islam remarks on Twitter. According to the Khaleez Times news, he criticized the actress Priyanka Chopra for an episode of the American TV series ‘Quantico’. In the episode Indian nationalists were shown as terrorists. He tweeted, “It is sad to see that you did not respect the sentiments of Hindus (Priyanka) who have been a victim of Islam’s terror for more than 2000 years.” Kochar’s anti-Islamic remarks on social media The dispute began and people who used Twitter used to demand the removal of the chef.
Seeing the debate on the issue, Kochar apologized on Twitter. Kochhar tweeted, ‘I will not give any clarification for the tweets made by me. I believe that Islam was born around 1400 years ago and therefore I apologize. I do not have Islamophobia, I regret my comment. ‘ In this case, JW Marriott Hotel (Atul who works in the hotel) has crossed the Kochhar tweet. The hotel tweeted that it does not agree with Kochhar’s comment nor supports his tweet.
