Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has released a full trailer from Marvel Studios. A poster for the Benedict Cumberbatch-starring film was also published. The Multiverse of Madness is the second film in the Marvel Cinematic Reality to examine the notion of the multiverse, which is a real-world concept that our universe is simply one of many realities that make up the multiverse.
The new trailer also gets us a closer look at Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, who will be unleashing her full evil side in the flick. The teaser also teases a Doctor Strange vs. Wanda battle, with Wanda questioning him and declaring, “You break the rules, you become a hero, I do it, I become the enemy.”
Monica Rambeau, the daughter of the late Maria Rambeau from Captain Marvel, appears in one of the trailer’s scenes during a fight with Scarlet Witch.
Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange accidentally opened up the universe, Strange is shown coping with the implications of his actions in this film, with the possibility of a multiverse collapse approach. Strange’s deeds will not go unpunished, as he is seen in handcuffs in the second video.
Sam Raimi, the filmmaker behind the Evil Dead franchise and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man movie, is directing Multiverse of Madness. He is a man who can be trusted with a job of this magnitude. While Scott Derrickson, the director of the previous film, had agreed to return as director, he had creative disputes with Marvel.
On May 6, 2022, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released.
