Despite the ban on the organization, Hafiz Saeed led the prayers of Eid.

Lahore, Jamaat-ud-Dawa and the mastermind of Mumbai attack, has declared illegal, Saeed has led the prayers of Eid-ul-Fitr in the security of the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday. To protect the area, the policemen were deployed inside and outside the stadium.

Saeed’s own security personnel were also deployed with him. The Jamaat-ud-Dawa Chief also gave a speech on this occasion and asked the Pakistani nationals to fully support the people of Kashmir. Saeed’s organization is restricted in Pakistan but it is allowed to lead rallies and assemblies. The United States had declared Jamaat-ud-Dawa as a foreign terrorist organization in June 2014.
