Cryptocurrency Prices: Bitcoin, ether, dogecoin, other crypto prices down


Cryptocurrency values have plummeted today, with altcoins like Cardano and Avalanche plummeting more than Bitcoin. The world’s most valuable digital token fell more than 7% to $39,416, marking the first time since March 16 that the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization has fallen below $40,000.

The overall cryptocurrency market volume over the previous 24 hours has increased by 59.25 percent to $101.87 billion. The entire volume in DeFi is presently $13.01 billion, accounting for 12.77 percent of the total 24-hour volume in the crypto market.

The overall volume of all stable currencies is now $85.90 billion, accounting for 84.32 percent of the entire 24-hour volume of the crypto market.

The current Bitcoin price is $39,555.92. According to CoinMarketCap statistics, Bitcoin’s dominance is presently 41.08 percent, down 0.05 percent from the previous day.

All of the main cryptos were down, with Bitcoin down over 6.26 percent and Ethereum down over 6.82 percent. Ether, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market value, was also down more than 6%, falling below $3,000 for the first time.
