China welcomes PM Modi’s comment on bilateral relations in Shangri-La Dialogue.

Beijing, China welcomes positive comments of PM Modi on China-India relations in Shangri-La Dialogue. At the same time, China has expressed the desire to work with India to maintain bilateral relations in the light of the agreement between the leaders of both the countries. PM Modi said in his address to Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore that the future of Asia and the world will be better, then India and China will work together with faith and confidence.

PM Modi was the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Shangri-La Dialogue. While addressing the Asia’s major Defense and Strategic Conference, PM said that both India and China have introduced persistence and intelligence to solve issues of mutual concern. Modi had said that the cooperation between these two countries, which has the highest population of the world, has also increased.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hua Chanyang welcoming PM Modi’s remarks in media briefing said, “We have looked at positive comments made by Prime Minister Modi on China-India relations. We greatly appreciate such positive comments. ‘ Recalling the informal meeting between PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Wuhan, he said that there was a deep exchange of ideas about international and bilateral relations between the two. He said that both the leaders had reached many conventions.

A spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the two sides agreed to resolve their differences with maturity and intelligibility. He further said that China is ready to work together with India to further its bilateral relations in this positive environment also bilateral cooperation to maintain peace system around the border.
