CBSE board declared its 12th class result. Divyanshi Jain secures 100%

The Central Board of Secondary Education declared its standard 12th board examination results on the 13th of July 2020. The results are extremely great these year and over 88% of students have passed.

This year the exams have been topped by a Divyanshi Jain, from Lucknow, a class 12th student scored 600 marks out of 600 to get 100% marks in the CBSE class 12th examination. The 18-year-old did not lose a single mark in any of her six subjects scoring a 100 in each.

In an interview Divyanshi said, “This is unbelievable. I am elated and surprised at the same time,” said jubilant Divyanshi Jain with a broad smile. Divyanshi Jain is a student of Navyug Radiance Senior Secondary School, Lucknow. She has always been amongst the toppers.

Divyanshi appeared for each and every examination except for geography as it was cancelled due to the novel coronavirus pandemic situation. She has secured 100 marks in her subjects English, Sanskrit, history, geography, insurance and economics.

Divyanshi is the second child of a businessman father and a homemaker mother, Divyanshi gave the credit of her success to her parents and teachers. “My teachers guided me throughout the year and I was able to follow a systematic routine due to my parents. Both these factors allowed me to concentrate on my studies and score good marks,” said Divyanshi. “I also made it a point to focus on revision and mock tests that helped me to score better,” she continued.

Divyanshi being an extremely bright student in school was expected to get such an amazing result. The principal of her school B Singh said, “I am amazed at Divyanshi’s achievement. We were confident that the she will top but the marks she got are beyond our expectations”.

After the board results were declared, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to his social media handle and congratulated the 12th standard students. In a tweet, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “The exam result are output of your hard work and dedication. May you be successful in your future endeavours.”
