Entertainment

Director Ayan Mukerji posted actor Mouni Roy’s motion poster from Brahmastra on Tuesday, branding her as the “unexpected package in the film.” Mouni’s role in the film is named Junoon, according to Ayan.

Mouni’s performance in the film, according to Ayan, will have a lasting influence. “A lot of people, I think, are going to walk out of Brahmāstra, talking about Mouni’s Performance as Junoon,” he added. “Moun – who has deep belief and deep surrender for Lord Shiva – has always understood Brahmāstra very naturally – and with that understanding, she really killed it with her part in our movie!” My first meeting with her, I offered her a ‘special appearance’ in Brahmāstra. Eventually she shot with us from our first day to our last schedule, and is really, the surprise package in the film!” he continued in his caption.

On Wednesday, Brahmastra’s trailer will be published. The public has already seen multiple motion posters, a song clip, and a teaser video from the Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor film, and while it has been said that Brahmastra is a fantasy film with magical aspects, the narrative has remained a mystery.

In various interviews, Ayan has stated that the film has been in development for about nine years. The film’s production began around five years ago. Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is the first instalment of a proposed three-part series.

The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni, in addition to Mouni, Alia, and Ranbir. Shah Rukh Khan is said to make a cameo appearance in the flick. The film Brahmastra will be released in theatres on September 9th.
