Black Panther Wakanda Forever trailer released!
On Monday night, the official trailer for the upcoming superhero movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever from Marvel Studios was unveiled. The movie, which represents a handoff from Chadwick Boseman, symbolises the late actor’s passing by having it also happen to his character T’Challa. The movie’s antagonist Namor the Submariner and the conflict he causes on the surface world are well shown in the trailer. The new Black Panther is presented in a much better light, which is the highlight.
In the opening scene of the film, Wakanda is seen watching T’Challa’s burial through a mural while his likeness looks on. A youthful Namor is also depicted painting a wall. “Only the most broken people can be great leaders,” the voiceover declares. The action then picks up speed as Namor ascends to his throne and declares war on the inhabitants of the surface with a thump of his staff. His Talocan troops emerge from the ground and launch an unrestrained war. Then, M’Baku emphasises how strong Namor is by saying that his people refer to him as the “feather-serpent God” rather than as a commander or monarch.
Before we watch the deadly Namor confront Wakanda’s Queen Mother Ramonda as he takes the war to that country and we witness the majestic kingdom in ruins, a montage of action scenes is shown. Before the teaser ends on an impactful note and reveals the new Black Panther for the first time, a quick peek of Dominique Thorne as the MCU’s newest hero Ironheart can be seen.
On November 11, Black Panther 2 will be released in theatres, capping out Phase 4. Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, and Tenoch Huerta, who plays Namor, are among the cast members of the Ryan Coogler-directed movie.
