Karachi, Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan’s first woman Prime Minister, and Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter Asifa Bhutto, Zardari, can participate elections next month. Asifa can fill nominations from the Kumbhar-Shahadakot seat.
‘Dawn News’, quoting a party leader, said that Asifa can also give candidacy to more than one seat, but she is firmly in Karachi.
Asif’s brother and Benazir’s son Bilawal Bhutto and father Asif Ali Zardari have also announced that they will participate from Larkana and Nawabshah constituency.
Pakistan Peoples Party Secretary General Farhatullah Babar had earlier said that none of Bilawal’s two sisters will contest this election this time. The Pakistan Peoples Party had already fixed the seat for former President Zardari and Bilawal and Asifa. Let’s tell that after celebrating his 25th birthday in February this year, Asifa was eligible to enroll in the election. Elections will be held on July 25 in Pakistan.
