Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul were spotted for the first time after the wedding
After a brief photoshoot with the paparazzi on their wedding day, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul made their first public appearance as a married couple on Monday. The two were spotted dining in casual attire at a Bandra restaurant, pausing briefly to pose for the cameras before hopping into their car.
A video from Monday night was uploaded to Instagram by paparazzi. Rahul is wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, while Athiya Shetty is wearing denim with a blue and brown design. Athiya is seen urging the photographers to move aside as she took a brief break to smile broadly for a shot with Rahul.
KL and Athiya Last week, Rahul was married at Suniel Shetty’s estate in Khandala. Rahul was wearing an off-white sherwani, and she was wearing an embroidered lehenga with neutral tones and polki jewelry. After the wedding ceremony, they left the location to pose for the photographers waiting outside. Suniel and his son Ahan Shetty welcomed the media and gave out candy boxes to the photographers in front of them.
A small group of friends and immediate family members attended the quaint wedding. Suniel has stated that he would soon be hosting a wedding reception.
Athiya made her Bollywood debut with the 2015 film Hero. She is the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty and model Mana Shetty. Since then, she has acted in two more movies, Motichoor Chaknachoor with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mubarakan with Arjun Kapoor. The Indian cricket team’s vice-captain in test matches is KL Rahul.
