Asus ROG Phone 6 to launch soon
The Asus ROG Phone 6, the company’s newest gaming phone, is about to go on sale. The business has said that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and Qualcomm Adreno GPU would be included in the phone. On July 5, Asus will conduct a web event to introduce the ROG Phone 6. The invitation, however, has no more information on the next Asus flagship phone’s features or characteristics.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor may or may not power the phone, but it will be the first gaming smartphone to use the most recent Qualcomm flagship SoC. According to the teaser, the smartphone will be unveiled on July 5 at 8 PM (about 5:30 PM IST) in Taipei.

Black Shark and Nubia will release their gaming smartphones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 after the Asus ROG Phone 6 does. In July, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will be available. Motorola has also disclosed that its flagship phone, equipped with a 200MP camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, would be released in July.
As the launch date July 5 draws nearer, there could be a few further revelations. To mark the approaching release of the ROG Phone 6 series, Asus has created a microsite. According to reports, the China Compulsory Certification (3C) website has included both the ROG Phone 6 and the ROG Phone 6 Pro. According to the reported ads, these 5G-capable phones would handle 15W regular charging and up to 65W rapid charging rates. The two gaming cellphones’ purported design renderings have also been revealed. They show both phones having rectangular camera modules holding triple-back cameras arranged horizontally and an LED flash.
