Air quality(AQI) in Delhi-NCR is deteriorating rather than improving. Poisonous air is making it difficult to breathe. The national capital has seen a huge decline in air quality on Thursday morning. The air in Delhi has reached very poorly to severe category.
However, a partial improvement in air quality was seen in Delhi on Wednesday morning. The air quality index (AQI) went below 300 for some time but on Wednesday evening the air deteriorated further leading to reduced visibility and people Also suffered from suffocation. The series continued on Thursday morning.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), AQI 453 in Nehru Nagar, ITO 460 in Delhi, 401 (severe category) in Lodhi Road recorded. Similarly, Noida is 458 (serious) in Sector 1, 469 in Gurugram Sector 51, 447 (serious category) in IGI Airport. AQI recorded at 469 in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad and 421 in New Industrial Area Faridabad.
