Andhra Pradesh Amset (AP EAMCET MPC Stream) Counseling will start today. Students who have not to get the chance for the processing fees and certificates will get a chance from December 28 to 31. Certificates can be examined from 29 to 31 at all the centres except Vijayawada Polytechnic College. Children of disabled, NCC, sports and ex-servicemen should come for the examination of certificates on 29th at the Help Center at Polytechnic College, Vijayawada.
The 25 help desks set up across the state will be operational till January 1. The first notification for Amset Counseling was out on October 23. Then 85,702 people paid the processing fee. Verification of credentials is complete. Those who did not come for counselling then are now getting a chance.
How to choose courses for AP EAMCET:
Students who have paid the processing fee and checked the certificates can register for the selection of colleges and courses from Monday. There is a chance for new options registration and changes on January 1st. The allocation of seats will be completed on the 3rd. The details will be on the website at 6 pm on the same day. Students have to go to the help desk to make changes in their phone number, login id and registration number. December 28-29: Ranks 1 to 60,000.
December 30-31: Counseling from 60,001- to last rank.
Convener Quota Seat Details:
There are a total of 1,29,016 seats in 257 government and private engineering colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Of these, 91,875 are for convener quota and 37,141 for management quota seats. Along with them are 10 per cent seats in the EWS quota. There are 10,675 seats in 120 bee pharmacy colleges. University colleges have 5,212 seats. Universities have 520 seats in 9 bee pharmacy colleges.
Selection of agricultural and horticultural courses today:
Those who have applied online to join BPC and MPC stream courses have been given a chance to choose UG courses and colleges from December 28 to 30.
For details of courses and colleges under the Universities of Agriculture, Veterinary and Horticulture, one can opt for the options till midnight on the 30th on the UG Admissions Portal on the website www.angrau.ac.in. Details of courses, allocation of fees and seats are available on the website.
