Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain win Smart Jodi
Ankita Lokhande, an actress, and her husband, Vicky Jain, have won the reality programme, Smart Jodi. The pair competed in the event just days after their wedding and won the ‘golden Gath Bandhan trophy and a monetary award of Rs. 25 lakh. During the grand finale, Balraj Syal and Deepti Tuli were named runners-up. Ankita posted a video of their victorious moment on her Instagram account after they won the event. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, who is regarded as one of Bollywood’s most beautiful couples, presented them with the prize.
Ankita Lokhande talked out about working alongside Vicky, who isn’t an actress or dancer like her, after the closing episode. In an interview, she stated, ” He was very good on the show. I also learnt that Vicky shares the same competitive spirit as me, and in fact, he is better than me. I thought Vicky would be camera-shy, but he was a perfect entertainer, lovable and could even outshine me in many ways. Both of us are fit and communicate well, too.”`
“We won the show because we were real,” he explained, adding that it allowed them to spend more time together because Vicky is typically in Bilaspur for business assignments.
In February of this year, the show premiered on Star Plus and Disney+ Hotstar. Other contestants were Arjun Bijlani-Neha Swami, Bhagyashree-Himalaya Dassani, Balraj Syal-Deepti Tuli, Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, Natalya Ilina and Rahul Mahajan, Pallavi Shukla and Ankit Tiwari, Monalisa and Vikraant Singh, Krishnamachari Srikkanth and Vidya and Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rathee.
