Amazon India announced on Thursday that it will expand its Telangana distribution network by opening a new dedicated centre and expanding existing centres. With cubic meters of available space, the new logistics centre provides more than 6,000 cubic meters of storage space, so there is a wider selection of products in the categories of large household appliances and furniture. He said FC will benefit more than 35,000 suppliers in the state by reaching a wider customer base, and this expansion will help create direct and indirect employment opportunities in Telangana while making the delivery to customers smoother and more efficient.

Amazon India’s infrastructure area in Telangana will now provide nearly 1 million square feet of floor space and more than 5 million cubic feet of storage capacity. Before Christmas, tens of thousands of products, such as air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and TVs, as well as items in the furniture category, will be placed there. This infrastructure will help the company meet its growing consumer demand for large appliances and furniture while expanding opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises across the country. Our continued investment in Telangana will have a multiplier effect on the local economy and stimulate ancillary businesses across the state.

The Minister of Information Technology and Industry KT Rama Rao said that Amazon India’s significant investment in Telangana is a testament to the state’s attractiveness as a centre of business and innovation. He said that Telangana’s expansion is part of Amazon India’s plan to increase storage capacity nationwide by approximately 40% by 2021.
