Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 Smartwatches Launched!

With dual-band circularly polarised GPS antenna technology, the Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 went on sale on Thursday. These smartwatches are capable of real-time GPS tracking and support five satellite positioning systems. They have more than 150 sports modes, including cycling, swimming, and other activities. Additionally, Amazfit has unveiled its BioTracker 4.0 PPG biometric optical sensor, which can be used for continuous monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and stress levels. The batteries in these smartwatches are said to support regular use for more than a week.


Sales of the Amazfit GTR 4 and Amazfit GTS 4 begin on Friday in the US. Both of these Amazfit smartwatches cost $199.99. (roughly Rs. 16,000). Racetrack Grey, Superspeed Black, and Vintage Brown Leather are the available colours for the Amazfit GTR 4. The Amazfit GTS 4 is available in the colours Rosebud Pink, Infinite Black, Misty White, and Autumn Brown.

A 1.43-inch HD (466×466 pixels) AMOLED display is featured on the Amazfit GTR 4. It has more than 200 watch faces and corresponding always-on displays. The middle frame of the smartwatch is made of metal. It is 10mm thin and 34g in weight.

A 1.75-inch HD (390×450 pixels) AMOLED display with more than 150 watch faces and always-on displays is featured on the Amazfit GTS 4, in contrast. This product has a middle frame made of aluminium alloy, making it slimmer and lighter than the Amazfit GTR 4. It is 9.9mm thin and only 27g thick.

These brand-new Amazfit smartwatches have dual-band GPS antenna technology with circular polarisation. It is suitable for accurate real-time GPS tracking. Users will soon be able to import route files and navigate them in real-time thanks to a feature the company will soon make available.

There are over 150 sports modes available for the Amazfit GTR 4 and Amazfit GTS 4. These smartwatches are set up to automatically identify eight sports movements and 15 strength training exercises. They have the brand-new BioTracker 4.0 PPG biometric optical sensor installed to continuously monitor stress levels, heart rate, and blood oxygen levels.

These smartwatches are powered by Zepp OS 2.0, which includes two games, GoPro, and third-party apps for Home Connect. They have an offline voice assistant in addition to having Amazon Alexa built in. For taking Bluetooth calls, a built-in microphone and speaker are available. The smartwatches can be used by users to control music streaming on their smartphones or to store music.

With regular use, the 475mAh battery inside the Amazfit GTR 4 should last up to two weeks. A 300mAh battery is present in the Amazfit GTS 4, which is said to offer up to seven days of backup.
