WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has demanded to end the controversy arising out of alleged offensive statements made against some immigrants from some countries, saying they are not racist. In a meeting with MPs of bipartisan group last week, he had said that some participants in the meeting are pressurizing the strangers of specially poor countries. Trump, who had faced widespread criticism against the alleged remarks, had organized a meeting with MPs on Thursday about the reforms in immigration.
While going to Trump International Golf Course for dinner with Kevin McCarthy, leader of the ruling party in the House in Florida, the US President told reporters, “No, no I am not a racist.” Of all the people you have interviewed so far I am the least racist. I can tell you this. ”
They (Trump) responded to Trump’s comments regarding the criticism being made by the racist commentators about their political rivals.
