Akshay Kumar will be working on the next project related to sex education
Akshay Kumar will be confronting the issue of sex education in his upcoming production. The actor revealed that he is now working on a feature film about sex education that is in production. Akshay participated in an In-Conversation panel on Saturday at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, which is taking place from December 1–10.
Several well-known Indian celebrities, including the actor, have stopped in Jeddah to take part in the second Red Sea International Film Festival. While Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, and Priyanka Chopra have already made appearances, Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan are scheduled to visit later this week for their own In-Conversation panels.
Akshay Kumar remarked in an interview with moderator Kaleem Aftab for the Hollywood trade publication Deadline, “It’s an extremely significant topic. It is absent in several locations. Sex education is one of the many things we study in school, and I wish it were taught in all of the world’s educational institutions. It will take time to release; it will probably happen in April or May.” It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever created, he continued.
“I enjoy making these kinds of social documentaries. Despite its modest box office performance, the movie makes me happy, the actor said. With Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017), which addressed the need for toilets in small towns and villages, and Padman (2018), which focused on menstruation and the accessibility of sanitary goods, Akshay has already done back-to-back social message movies.
In addition to the upcoming movies Selfiee, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2, the Hindi version of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru (2020), and the unnamed biopic of Jaswant Singh Gill, Akshay was recently featured in a cameo in the Ayushmann Khurrana-starring movie An Action Hero.
