It’s February 17th, and today is the 38th birthday of AB de Villiers. On his birthday, netizens went to social media to wish him well. The first team to wish the South African batter was Royal Challengers Bangalore.

It’s never a good idea to judge a sportsperson only based on their statistics, but de Villiers is one of the few cricketers whose numbers match his talent. Mr 360, as de Villiers is known, collected 8,765 runs in 114 Tests at an average of 50.66, owing to his ability to score from nearly any part of the ground. In red-ball cricket, he has 22 hundred.

AB de Villiers was born on February 17, 1984, and earned his international debut at the age of 20. In his first encounter, the former South African hitter showed hints of what he can accomplish on the cricket pitch in 2004.

AB de Villiers became a key member of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Indian Premier League (IPL) club due to his performance (RCB). Mr 360, along with captain Virat Kohli, delighted fans with a slew of brilliant combinations. RCB was also seldom disappointed when he counted on the Proteas’ abilities to save them in difficult situations.

AB de Villiers has 184 IPL appearances under his belt, amassing 5162 runs, three tonnes, and 40 half-centuries. Here are some of AB de Villiers’ most memorable IPL performances from all of his appearances thus far.
