For the first time in twelve years, the airing of the show was interrupted for a couple of months due to the unfortunate lockdown. Through this time too, our viewers and well-wishers stood by us and supported us. Now that we are back on, our commitment to keeping creating great content ingrained in social values, and spreading happiness and positivity through the show remains right at the top.”

This show is produced by Neela Film Productions Private Limited and the stars that are the part of this show are Dilip Joshi, Munmun Dutta, Amit Bhatt, Raj Anadkat, Sailesh Lodha, Balwinder Singh Suri, and Sunayana Fozdar along with others too. And one of the most lovable characters of this show Daya who is played by Disha Vakani is also a part of this show but she is on a break from 2017 as in that year she gave birth to a baby.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (transl. Taarak Mehta’s altered displays; in some cases shortened as TMKOC) is an Indian Hindi language TV sitcom. One of India’s longest-running TV programs, it is created by Neela Tele Films. The show went on air on 28 July 2008. It airs from Monday to Friday on SAB TV. Reruns of the show began on Sony Pal from 2 November 2015.

The show depends on the section Duniya Ne Undha Chashma composed by editorialist, author, and writer/dramatist Taarak Mehta for the Gujarati week by week magazine Chitralekha.
