• Chocolate truffles

o Ingredients

1 cup of chopped walnuts
1 cup of cashews
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup dates, pitted, soaked
1 cup of dark chocolate
½ cup of white chocolate

o Method

Add the dry fruits, that is, walnuts, cashews, and dates to a food processor and process until a crumbly batter forms.

Using your hands, form the dough into oval-shaped footballs and place them on a baking sheet.

Place the baking sheet in the freezer to chill for a minimum of 25 to 30 minutes.

Melt dark chocolate in the microwave or n you can use the double boiler method.

Remove truffles from the freezer and dip them into the melted chocolate one at a time. Use a fork to remove all the excess chocolate from the truffles.

Transfer truffles back to the baking sheet and repeat with remaining truffles. Transfer the baking sheet back to the freezer and wait for the chocolate to set.

Melt white chocolate in the microwave or by using the double boiler method. Spoon the chocolate into a piping bag with a small tip.

Remove truffles from the freezer and pipe the stitching onto each football.

Store truffles in the freezer until ready to serve.
