If you are a user of Vodafone or Idea then there is good news for you. Now after BSNL, Vodafone-Idea has announced its customers to completely eliminate Blackout Days on New Year’s Eve.
Yes, that means customers will not have to pay additional charges for SMS and calling on December 31 and January 1. Not just these two days, but in the coming year, on any particular day like Holi-Diwali, users will not be charged any extra charge in exchange for calls or SMS. That is, customers will now be able to take advantage of their recharge packs and SMS packs on big occasions or festivals.
Know, telecom companies consider big festivals or occasions (like: New Year, Deepawali, Holi) as Black Out Days. These days, users have to give extra charge for sending and sending messages. That is, customers’ special tariff vouchers or message packs do not work these days. According to a report by Telecom Talk, after the announcement of BSNL, customers will no longer be charged separately on any Black Out Day.
For example, if the customer had also taken SMS pack before the blackout, customers had to pay a charge from the main balance. Now, since the announcement, the message will not be charged from the main balance to send the message, but the message pack can be sent from it. Let’s say that after launching its services in September 2016, Reliance Jio was the first company to end Blackout Days.
