Washington, US President Donald Trump and North Korean ruler Kim Jong-un can meet again in the beginning of next year. Trump has hoped that he can probably meet with Kim in January or February in the beginning of 2019. It is notable that after giving threats to each other for years, the heads of the two countries had held a historic meeting in June.
On returning to Washington after participating in the G20 summit in Argentina, on Saturday, in the Air Force One ship, he told reporters accompanying him that there are three places to be considered for the meeting. On the question asked about Kim’s prospect in future, he said, “I think we are going to meet in January, February.”
Let me tell you that in June, Trump and Kim started a discussion on nuclear disarmament of the Korean Peninsula during their meeting in June after military threats and yours. The two leaders had signed the document on the disarmament of the Korea Peninsula, but due to the conflict between Washington and Pyongyang, the progress on this has stopped since then and North Korea has taken undesirable steps to stop its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who met with North Korean top executives in November, but the meeting was canceled, due to which North Korea had to put emphasis on restricting sanctions on the United States.
On the other hand, Trump met the South Korean President Moon Jei -in in the G20 meeting on Friday to discuss the situation. Both reiterated their commitment to the final and complete formidable nuclear disarmament of North Korea.
