In the July-September quarter of the current financial year, Reliance Jio has been on top of the adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR). In this period, the AGR of GE has been Rs 8,271 crore. This information was given in the data of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
According to the latest TRAI data, the recent merger of Vodafone Idea of AGR or mobile services is Rs 7,528 crore. Bharti Airtel has been ranked third with an AGR of Rs 6,720 crore. The government’s share of revenue from licenses and other charges from the telecom companies is decided on the basis of the AGR.
In the July-September quarter, BSNL’s AGR stood at Rs 1,284.12 crore. In the previous April-June quarter, Geo-ji was on the first place with the AGR of Rs 7,125.7 crore in this list. However, at that time, the joint venture between Vodafone and Idea in the merger process was Rs 8,226.79 crores higher than that of the GER.
On different points, Vodafone’s AGR was Rs 4,483.69 crore and Idea’s Rs 3,743.1 crore. Bharti Airtel’s AGR was Rs 6,723.5 crore. As far as gross revenue is concerned, Vodafone Idea topped with Rs 13,542 crore. Airtel’s position stood at Rs 11,596 crore, with the second and gross revenue of Rs 10,738 crore.
